Tips for spicy currywurst sauce

Especially in the cities of the country, the degree of spiciness is asked at the sausage stall. Our basic recipe for currywurst sauce is quite mild and therefore ideal for family meals. It gets a bit spicier if you cut half a pitted pepperoni into small cubes with the onions and sweat directly with the onions. Another degree of spiciness is achieved if you also sweat the kernels. Still not spicy enough? Then taste the sauce with Tabasco at the end.
