What are the Pan American Games

Pan American Games

Jogos Pan-americanos

The Olympic Games of the American continent. They have been held every four years since 1951. There was no such event in Europe until the first European Games in 2015. The PanAm Games, on the other hand, are comparable to the Asian Games or the All-Africa Games. The organizer of the games is PASO / ODEPA - The Pan American Sports Organization / Organización Deportiva Panamericana. Founded in 1948, it brings together the 41 national Olympic committees of the American continent. The seat is in Mexico.
