Dosage of TAVOR 1.0 tablets

Since the dosage of the drug depends on various factors, it should be individually tailored to you by your doctor.

Tension, excitement and anxiety:

  • Adults
    • Single dose: ½-1 tablet
    • Total dose: 2-3 times a day (½-2½ tablets per day)
    • Time: in the morning and before going to bed, possibly also at noon, regardless of the meal

Tension, excitement and anxiety: Alternatively, the daily dose can also be taken in the evening.

Tension, excitement and anxiety: Maximum dose: Under medical supervision, the dose can be increased to 7½ tablets per day.

Sleep disorders:

  • Adults
    • Single dose: ½-2½ tablets
    • Total dose: once a day
    • Time: before going to bed (about 30 minutes before)

After ingestion, ensure that you have enough sleep for 7-8 hours.

Calming before operations or diagnostic interventions - single dose:

    • Time: in the evening, before the procedure, after the meal (approx. 2 hours)

Calming down before operations or diagnostic interventions - in severe forms:

    • Single dose: 1-2½ tablets or 2-4 tablets
    • Total dose: 1-2½ tablets or 2-4 tablets
    • Time: 1-2½ tablets in the evening, after the meal or 2-4 tablets, before the procedure (1-2 hours)

The medicine is dosed by your doctor for children from 6 years of age.

Patients with impaired liver or kidney function: In consultation with your doctor, you may need to reduce the individual or total dose or increase the dose interval.

Elderly and debilitated patients: In consultation with your doctor, you may need to reduce the individual or total dose or increase the dose interval.

Instructions for use

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Type of application?
Take the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

Duration of application?
The duration of use depends on the type of complaint and / or duration of the illness and is therefore only determined by your doctor. The medicine should only be taken for a short time.

Overdose?
A variety of overdose symptoms can occur, including incoordination, low blood pressure, muscle pain, speech disorders and cardiovascular failure. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

Forgot to take?
Continue taking it at the next prescribed time as normal (i.e. not with double the amount).
